INHALT
In the first part of this workshop series you will get a rough overview of the role of English as Medium of Instruction (EMI) in higher education. Furthermore, you will discuss benefits and challenges of EMI as well as reflect upon different areas of expertise with regard to teaching in English. You’ll leave the workshop with an individual action plan for further steps.
In the second part of the series we will exchange experiences with regard to your EMI practice. We will engage in a peer exchange and peer counselling session in which we discuss concrete examples and questions. The second day can also be used to examine topics from day 1 in more detail.
Both sessions will be very interactive with a focus on collaborative learning. Thus, your active presence will be required throughout the whole workshop.
